　an(先に) + ces(逝く) + or(人)
=>先に逝った人
=>祖先

• My ancestors came to the U.S. from Ireland. 私の先祖はアイルランドから米国にやってきた
• Americans of Japanese ancestry 日系アメリカ人

exceed

　ex(外に) + ceed(行く)
=>(限度の)外にいく
=>超える、超過する

• exceed the speed limit 制限速度を超える.
• go [run] to excess 極端に走る, やりすぎ
• excessive charges 法外な代金[料金].

access

　ac(~の方へ) + cess(行く)
=>どこかへ行くための手段
=>アクセス

• an access to the airport 空港への道[アクセス].
• car accessories 自動車の付属品.

incessant

　in(~でない) + cess(行く) + ant
=>行く事がない=>終わる事がない
=>絶え間ない、ひっきりなしの

• incessant chatter ひっきりなしのおしゃべり.
